WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Baby boomers wired to their iPads and smart phones are giving U.S. health experts some new ideas about ways to cut the soaring costs of medical care in graying America. Some of the ideas might sound like "Robo-Granny". An astronautical engineer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has made a skin-tight undersuit equipped with sensors that can constantly monitor the vital signs of its elderly wearer and feed the data into a computer that fires off health alerts. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. nominee to take over leadership of the World bank, Jim Yong Kim, is heading to Moscow and to Lima, Peru, on April 12-17 to seek support for his candidacy, the Treasury Department said on Thursday. Kim, a public-health expert and former president of Dartmouth College, has already been in Asia and parts of Latin and Central America to meet finance chiefs. On Wednesday, he was interviewed by World Bank directors. Two other candidates also are vying to succeed the current World Bank president, Robert Zoellick, when he steps down. ...

 NEW YORK (Reuters) - Private equity firm Hellman & Friedman is exploring a sale of AlixPartners in a deal that could value the restructuring advisory firm at more than $1 billion, according to four people familiar with the matter. Efforts to sell AlixPartners are at an advanced stage and a deal is expected in the near future, the people said. Goldman Sachs Group and Bank of America Merrill Lynch are advising on the process, they said.  NEW YORK (Reuters) - The fate of hedge fund manager Philip Falcone's upstart telecom may hang in the balance, but some distressed investors are still wheeling and dealing in LightSquared debt. A financial institution controlled by billionaire investor Andrew Beal is trying to sell $150 million in bank debt that LightSquared has issued to raise money for its proposed nationwide wireless network, say three traders familiar with the situation.
