India launches WTO case against steel duties

GENEVA (Reuters) - India has launched a trade dispute to challenge duties on certain steel products, the World Trade Organization said on its website on Thursday. The WTO gave no details but said India had "requested consultations" with the United States - the first stage of a formal trade dispute - over U.S. countervailing duties. China growth seen slower in 2012, recovery mild: World Bank

BEIJING (Reuters) - The World Bank cut its forecast for China's 2012 economic growth to 8.2 percent on Thursday and said a rebound might not begin before the third quarter of the year as slack foreign demand and a government-induced real estate slowdown restrain a recovery.
